Samantha is a Reiki Master, Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork teacher originally from the Bahamas, with a rich background in linguistics from her time living in Paris. She offers a warm, holistic approach to her Gentle Hatha and Yin Yoga classes, helping students find balance, clarity, and relaxation.
Samantha was inspired to become a yoga teacher in 2019 after noticing the profound physical and mental benefits of attending regular yoga classes herself. She has experience teaching yoga in the aged care sector, where she helps students with mobility, easing joint stiffness, and helping students feel rejuvenated both physically & mentally. She is passionate about offering gentle, accessible classes with a focus on mindfulness and stress reduction that meet students exactly where they are.
Her teaching style is calm, kind, and compassionate — weaving breathwork throughout class to relax the nervous system and guiding students into deep relaxation during Savasana, helping them feel grounded, positive, and at peace.
She also runs Reiki, Yin, and sound healing workshops combining Yoga and Reiki which help to balance your energy centres bringing about deep relaxation and stress reduction leaving you feeling relaxed, grounded, revitalised.
Samantha believes yoga is for every body and every age. Her Mindful Movement classes create a welcoming space where students can move with ease, build confidence, and leave feeling renewed.
