Join Alex and Martina for six nights immersed in the jungle — slow flow, yin, yoga nidra, and evening sound healing each day, waterfalls and rice paddies between practices, and nothing on the agenda but rest. Accommodation & Meals

Rest, easy

Sleep in rustic open-air bungalows built from locally sourced materials, designed to dissolve into the forest around them. Most rooms are twin or queen share inside a two-bedroom bungalow — this is shared-style living, with the jungle as your walls.

Three full buffet meals a day, all vegetarian or vegan, much of it grown on-site using sustainable farming practices. Most dietary requirements can be catered for.

Location

Sth Slopes of Mt Batukaru

Far from Bali's coast and its crowds, this sustainable eco-retreat sits deep in the rainforest near Mt Batukaru — amid rice paddies, waterfalls, mountain streams, and jungle food forests, run in step with the local land and people.

There's no air-con and no TVs. Open-air rooms mean you sleep to the sound of crickets and rushing water, and wake with the birds as light filters through the canopy.

Your Hosts

Alex Cogley & Martina Carosi

Alma Yoga's founders are leading this retreat themselves. Martina has spent almost twenty years teaching Hatha and Satyananda-lineage yoga across Sydney's Northern Beaches, with a particular love for Women's Circles, shamanic journeying, and the sacred feminine traditions she now weaves into Alma's classes. Alex brings 25 years on the mat — trained through Yoga Synergy, mentored by some of the country's most respected teachers, and shaped by her work as a Lifeline crisis-support volunteer — into a teaching style that's equal parts strength and steadiness. The pair founded Alma together in 2024, and chose this stretch of jungle below Mt Batukaru for Source because it offered everything their Mosman studio can't: total quiet, no phone signal, and a landscape wild enough to make stillness unavoidable.

This is Alma's first retreat away from the Mosman studio at this particular property — a small, intentional group, led by the same teachers you already know.
