Aimee is an integrative somatic practitioner, yoga and breathwork teacher whose work is grounded in the wisdom of the body.
With a lifelong connection to movement, performance, and embodied practice, Aimee’s path has been shaped by sport, stage, and yoga. A former Australian track-and-field athlete and trained actress, she understands both the discipline of performance and the deep human need for regulation, presence, and connection. It was during drama school that she first discovered yoga, and what began as a physical practice soon became a profound framework for healing, awareness, and transformation.
For over two decades, yoga has remained a steady thread through Aimee’s life, supporting her through personal growth, challenge, transition, and renewal. Her teaching is deeply informed by somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, breathwork, mindfulness, and the understanding that the body carries not only tension, but intelligence.
Aimee’s classes invite students to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with their natural rhythm. Blending grounded movement, conscious breath, and nervous-system-informed practices, she creates spaces that foster strength, softness, resilience, and self-awareness.
Her approach is both calming and empowering, helping people move beyond constant doing and into a more connected and embodied way of being. Whether teaching dynamic movement or deeply restorative practices, her intention is the same: to help people feel more at home within themselves.
This is yoga as relationship. With breath. With body. With presence. With the quiet wisdom that has been there all along.
