Dr. Anna Young-Ferris is a Vedic meditation teacher based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, teaching primarily from her idyllic Studio Leela in Newport. Balancing life as a mum, corporate professional, business owner, academic and United Nations awardee for her pioneering work in conscious business and sustainability, Anna draws on over two decades of meditation experience to blend ancient Vedic wisdom with practical tools for modern living. She empowers students to cultivate calm, clarity, and resilience, while providing dedicated support to sustain your meditation practice.

Dr. Anna Young-Ferris’s Vedic Meditation course at Alma Yoga is a four-session (over 3 days) program designed for busy modern lives. You’ll learn an effortless, mantra-based technique rooted in a 5,000-year-old Indian tradition, tailored for busy humans balancing work, family, and daily demands. Across the sessions, Anna provides personal instruction, including a private mantra, and guides you in meditating amidst noise and distractions. The course covers the mind-body connection, stress release, and practical strategies for establishing a regular practice. Graduates become self-sufficient meditators, supported by ongoing community, follow-ups, and resources.
